Key Claims
Paul Tillich formulated the ‘method of correlation’, linking human existential questions with theological answers. Faith is not intellectual assent to dogmas, but being seized by an Ultimate Concern. ‘The courage to be’ is the radical self-affirmation that overcomes the ontological anxiety of non-being.
